“While I was working to be more physically healthy I encountered barriers associated with my lack of knowledge on how to train effectively. My methods accounted for over-training injuries that resulted in a lack of motivation to exercise as well as chronic injuries. I chose Austin as my trainer after he approached me in the gym while I was performing an exercise incorrectly and I appreciated his approach. Austin’s approach was unique because of the importance he placed on training in a way that not only complimented my goals, but was also aware of my barriers. This was unique for me because historically I was used to trainers assuming I ultimately desired bulk, when really I am looking for routines that are healthy and allow me to exercise effectively as I age.
